Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-03-07  luzhin: Perhaps Planinc's last great attacking game, in his final tournament before mental illness cruelly cut short a dazzling career: horribly ironic that the tournament was itself a commemoration of a Grandmaster whose genius had been blighted by a similar condition.
Mar-29-08  ToTheDeath: This is great stuff.
Mar-29-08  computer chess guy: As far as I can tell, Planinc's play is amazingly accurate. I'm sure White has other ways to win, but Bxe7! and the followups 18. Nd5! and 20. exd5! seem to be best.
