Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-14-05  notyetagm: When Gallagher tried to grab a pawn with 38 ♘xd5?? ♗xd5 39 ♖xd5, he simply missed that 39 ... ♖g6+ 40 ♔f1 ♖h1+ 41 ♔e2 ♖xc1 wins a whole rook.
Mar-29-10  aktajha: Nice opening, look at the way vaganian uses tacticals motives from move 10-16 to keep the balance, not taking the piece back directly, but just making sure it is done appropriately
Feb-05-13  Wyatt Gwyon: Gallagher must've been pretty short on time to blunder with 38. Nxd5

perfidious: <Wyatt Gwyon> White was in a bad way anyhow, facing ideas such as 38....f4 39.Ng2 Rg4, when he would have no compensation for the two-pawn deficit.
