  chancho: R.N.Coles book Dynamic Chess, gives the finish as 27 Rxg3 pf2! 28 Qxf2 Qd1+ 29 Qg1 Bb7+ 30 Rg2 Bxg2# one hell of a game.
Jul-28-05  sneaky pete: Coles invented that finish, white resigned after 26... exf3. Schlechter, Deutsche Schachzeitung, August 1914, explains: there could follow 27.Rxg3 f2 28.Qxf2 Qd1+ 29.Kg2 Bb7+ 30.Kh3 Qh5#.

Dec-05-22  Jamboree: Considering that black attacks on one wing of the board, a better name for this game would have been "Coming in on a Wing and a Breyer."
