Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-06-07  whiteshark: Here Schmidt wrestled Larsen (one of the strongest players of that time) simply down.

Needless to say, he defended poorly.

With <28. Ra3!> (one move earlier) Larsen could have prevented 28... Rc8 due to 29. Rxe3 dxe3 Rxd5.

So after <28.Ra3 Rd6 29. Ke1 Nf2 30. Rxe3! dxe3 31. Rd4 Ne4 32. Bf3 Nf6>

this is a nearly equal endgame after 33.Nc4 Rd7 34. Bxd5 Rxd5.

Nov-27-08  DarthStapler: Very interesting ending
Jul-06-14  Eduardo Bermudez: Larsen verloren in ihrem eigenen Spiel !
Jul-22-14  Eduardo Bermudez: Chess player who was born in Poland on april 10th and won against David Bronstein, Bent Larsen y Hector Rossetto... you are thinking in Najdorf, no, I am thinking in the GM Wlodzimierz Schmidt !!
Dec-29-15  Eduardo Bermudez: Larsen beaten in their own game style !!
Dec-29-15  Eduardo Bermudez: When Larsen lost this game was number 5 in the world !!
Dec-29-15  Eduardo Bermudez: ...but just two months after the famous 6-0 !!
