Dec-01-12  ForeverYoung: I looked at this game a couple of days ago. I can not avoid the impression that Kashdan had the last ten moves calculated out! He was a very capable player in his day.
Jun-11-13  jerseybob: ForeverYoung: That's putting it mildly. For a small window in the late-20's and early-30's, Kashdan was one of the top players in the world. Check out his games with Alekhine for example. And if Marshall hadn't successfully dodged him, he would certainly have been U.S. Champ. But then Reshevsky and Fine both hit their stride and passed him by.
