Nov-02-05  schnarre: Why do Damiano players seem to attack prematurely (what's with 8...Nb4?)? 8...Nge7 looks decent here.
Nov-02-05  prinsallan: <schnarre> Premature and Damiano often means the same thing. There´s a reason why one chooses a certain opening. Perhaps Damiano players have in common that they love to attack. As I have seen today, most often the attack is way too early, before even castling.

That's a good point!

Nov-16-05  prinsallan: <schnarre> Seems just you and me like to study the Damiano defense. I think it is time well spent. Many bad examples in here and I love your game collection.
Nov-16-05  schnarre: Like I've said "Somebody's gotta do it!" It's a definite "How much worse can it get?" Opening to browse.
