Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-02-05  schnarre: Fiesty game, but Black's Queenside pressure was just too weak. 8...Nbc6 would have aided development, with a later ...Qd7, ...0-0-0 for a more defensive posture.
Jan-22-06  Chessman1: 2. ... f6 is f6?? because white wins on the spot! Look: 3.Nxe5! fxe5 3. ... Qe7 4.Nf3 Qxe4+ 5.Be2 is just good for white. 4.Qh5+ Ke7 4. ... g6?? Qxe5 wins the rook. 5.Qxe5+ Kf7 6.Bc4+ d5 7.Bxd5+ Kg6 Now the key move: 8.h4! h5 8. ... h6 9.Bxb7! is similar, while 8. ... Bd6?? allows a forced mate: 9.h5+ Kh6 10.d4+ g5 11.hxg6+ Kxg6 12.Qh5+ Kf6 12. ... ♔g7 13.♕f7# 13.Qg5#. And now back to our game, 9.Bxb7!! White wins the a8-rook since 9. ... Bxb7 10.Qf5+ Kh6 11.d4+ g5 12.Bxg5+ is slaughter.
Feb-12-06  Chessman1: Anyways, after 3.Nxe5! Qe7 4.Nf3 Qxe4+ 5.Be2 is just very good for white.
