Mar-22-05  Tariqov: how did this happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mar-22-05  pastpawn: In correspondence chess, too, no less. Maybe Black misread White's 9th & thought it was Nf3?
Mar-23-05  sneaky pete: In correspondence chessplayers a numeric notation system is in use, where abcdefgh are replaced by 12345678. So Ra1-d1=1141 and Ra1-a4=1114 etc. Baumbach must have read 4423 (Nd4-b3) as 3423 (Bc4-b3), another common move in this position.
Mar-24-08  D.Observer: The black ♕ had the opportunity to escape with <either 9. ... Qc7 or 9. ... Qd8>, <but how did <this mistake> happen?!>

whiteshark: That is most provoking. :((
Sep-02-11  Bloemansdall: Yes, Black read 3423 but 4423 was written
