Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-11-08  ThePawnOTron2: Both White and Black made instructive blunders in the opening. 5.Nxe5?? tries to fork the bishop and knight, both players overlooking that the simple 5...Nxe5 attacks the bishop at c4.

--ThePawnOTron2

Oct-11-08  ThePawnOTron2: On a further note, 9.Bg5?? runs in to a simple pin-breaking tactic. 9...Ng4+ wins a piece with a much better game.

So there are no less than THREE 3-point blunders in the first ten moves. What's the world coming to? :-)

--ThePawnOTron2

Oct-11-08  Ziggurat: And on the next move (11) Black misses an instant win with the obvious 11...Qe3+.
Oct-11-08  ThePawnOTron2: Ziggurat, that is true! 11...Qe3+ threatens Qf2# with tempo-that is, Black mates next turn.
