  Phony Benoni: White seems determined to turn the Sicilian Alapin into something brilliant, and Lyman gladly seizes the opportunity. 15...Rxb3 is of course quite nice, but nicer would have been finding the mate in three for Black after <16.Qf1>:

  FSR: Hmm, yes, after 16...Rxb1+ 17.Ke2 Lyman should have ended the game with 17...Nf4+! and now 18.Ke3 Qd4# or 18.Ke1 Rxc1# (a very weird back rank mate).
