Domdaniel: Weiss seems to have analysed - and played - the Caro-Kann before Caro and Kann examined it.

Should it be renamed the Weiss Defence?

moronovich: <Should it be renamed the Weiss Defence?>

It certainly looks like herr Schottlaender have had a couple of Weiss Beer before and during the game ;)

Domdaniel: Perhaps Herr Schottlaender should have played the Scotch?

Honza Cervenka: This looks like a fingerslip. White probably intended to play 12.Qe2 or 12.Re1 but his hand moved the wrong piece or dropped it on the wrong field.
