Honza Cervenka: 16...Nc2 was a mistake. Black should have exchanged the Queens at first.

Benzol: <Honza> Why did he play 17...♖fe8 and not 17...a5? I know he still has to unpin the ♘ with ♕a3 and the a2 pawn is taboo but wouldn't that have been worth a try?

  Honza Cervenka: <Why did he play 17...Rfe8 and not 17...a5?> There was a threat 18.Bh6! with idea 18...Nh5 19.Bxg7 Nxg7 20.Qg5
Feb-24-05  Saruman: <Honza Cervenka> How about 20.-Qxd4+ in that line?

Benzol: I didn't even notice that there was a threat on the Kingside (Slaps Forehead)! Thanks <Honza>.

Honza Cervenka: <Saruman> 20...Qxd4 is forced but hopeless. After 21.Nxd4 Nxd4 white has not only huge material advantage but also a continuous attack.
Feb-25-05  Saruman: True, all the time I am reminded of the fact that I dont study the board long enough!
