Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-18-05  AdrianP: 23 b5!? and 24 d5!? - sharpens up what was beginning to look like a fairly solid game. Did Volkov's 22...Bf6 threaten ideas of ...g4 and ...Bh4!? (maybe after ...O-O-O).

Chukky makes the endgame look v. simple.

Nice to see Chukky on good form with 3/3 so far. Shame he's not at Linares.

Feb-18-05  hjsukthankar: Why was 39. Ng6+ not played?
Feb-18-05  AdrianP: <hj> Yeah strange - could have been played on move 38 as well, no? Either a remarkable oversight (time-trouble?) or the game score has messed up.
Dec-18-05  LIFE Master AJ: Good question. (39.Ng6+ looks winning to me.)
Dec-18-05  aw1988: Move 39, most likely dire seconds.
