Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-13-05  DAL9000: An outstanding game. I'm not easily impressed, but Black's play from moves 20 to 24 is superlative, just a marvelous attacking sequence.

Now, 20... g5 and 21... Nxg4 are strong moves in their own right, and 22... e3! is very nice, but the move that really frosts my cupcake here is 24... f3!!, starting a very unusual pawn avalanche landing squarely on the White King's head.

I've never seen anything remotely like that. Wow.

Aug-31-10  echector: I agree, very nice, but quite honestly anyone with good calculating skills could have played boncourt's sequence from moves 20 to 24
Nov-26-10  sirfraix: 23. Qxf4 is of course stronger, and more evident, I think.
Jan-17-13  chesssalamander: This is the 1st Anderssen's Opening in the database. What inspired K to try it? What does 1.a3 do for White other than burn a tempo?
Sep-27-17  Serpentin: 7.Bg5 is better than 7.Ne2?!
