Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-27-19  sneaky pete: This is the second game played on Sunday, July 14, between de heer Anderssen and de heer De Heer. The Dutch amateur had won the first game K de Heer vs Anderssen, 1861 and he was well on his way here winning the second game too.

Around move 20 white's position looks shaky, but De Heer starts playing inaccurately at this point. 21... Nd3 may be premaature and I don't like moves 23 and 24 either. All this results in an exchange sacrifice on move 25 that is only good enough for a draw.

Unfortunately De Heer blundered with 29... Bf6 when he should have played 29... Bc5

There are plenty of ways for both sides to go wrong, but best play is probably 30.Nh5 Qe5 31.Ng3 Qd4

with a technical draw by repetition.
