Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-19-11  swr: It's surprising to see this A de Lelie, of whom I've never heard before, destroying Anderssen in the former's only game in the database.

Nice game.

Mar-12-12  ariel el luchador: los colores están cambiados esta partida la ganó Anderssen
Mar-12-12  Kinan: Do you have source for that, Ariel?
Sep-23-13  thomastonk: This is indeed Anderssen vs de Lelie, see "Schachzeitung" 1862, p. 119.

I will submit a correction slip.

sachistu: Also <thomastonk> this was played in Amsterdam (per the same source you cited). I will submit a correction slip.
Nov-09-17  RKnight: It wasn't obvious how Anderssen would finish the game after 20...Rg8. I came up with 21 Nh6 Rg7, 22 Bxg7 and eventually winning. But I thought there should be something more convincing. Indeed there was. The engines suggest 21 Bxd4 Qc3, 22 Bc5+ and mate in 11.
