Phony Benoni: True--but doesn't White have a perpetual check in the final position?
Jul-28-09  MrMelad: From reading your forum a while ago, I know that you are tons better than me, but can't black win by reaching with his king to g7 after a long series of checks? The black bishop on f5 can't be captured by the queen and if the queen takes the rook then ..Be4#. There is also another mate in the position ..Nf7+ RxN ..Rd8+ Rf8 ..RxR#

I can't see the perpetual

33.Qxb6 Kc8 34.Qc6+(Or 34.Qa6+) Kd8 35.Qa8+ Ke7 (now 36.Qxh8 Be5#) 36.Qa7+ (or 36.Qb7+) Kf8 37.Qb5+ (or Qc4+ depends on the previous move or Qa8+ or Qb8+) Kg7 and no more checks, inevitable mate. Did I miss something?
