Nov-09-05  siggemannen: this game is insane, i like ivanchuk's march to the kingside. White was in big time-trouble probably in this game, ivanchuk's attack doesn't look that great
Nov-09-05  percyblakeney: 51. Qa5 is the losing blunder, Qxh6+ looks winning.
Nov-09-05  Unicornio: Interesting game.
Nov-11-05  cade: 51.Qa5 is said to be winning in the chessbase.com analysis.

Mateo: 51. Qa5? was not good, losing almost all the advantage. Better 51. Qh6 Kg3 52. Bf1 (to free the Queen of the defence of the h3 pawn) with a winning game for White.

54. Ra8? gave Black the advantage after 54... Kf4 (or 54... Kf2), winning the g4 pawn. Better 54. Kb3 (54... Kf4 55. Ra4).

55... Ke4? is only equal. Better 55... Ke3! 56. Bf1 (56. Bd1 Kd2) Ng4 and Black has an advantage.

61. Re8?? is a fatal blunder. Just 61. Bd1 with an equal game. For instance, 61... Ng4 62. Rh3 (62. Bg4 Bd4) Kf4 63. Rf3-f7.

Nov-11-05  Chess Addict: Wow, talk about King March!
Aug-25-09  Resignation Trap: Was this already going through Chucky's mind at the start of the game?: http://chessbase.com/news/2005/ivan...
