Kibitzer's Corner
May-24-08  lost in space: Like the game a lot, especially the end (21... ♗xb1 22. ♖xb7!!!), but there is a white blunder beforehand: 11. g3?? ♗xc5 12. bxc5 Sgxe5! 13. ♗xe5 ♘xe5 14. ♗g2 (♘xe5? ♕xe5 and now there is threat d3 and Black is much better) ♘xc4 and Black is better
May-24-08  HSOL: It's a nice finish but doesn't black play far too slow in the last few moves?

For example how does white respond to 20.- Qxc5? It would at least delay the end a few moves if I'm not mistaken

May-27-08  lost in space: >HSOL> you are right.

From my point of view the opening was played badly from White. Round about move 15 Black had the chance to get a better position:

After 15... Nxf5 Black has a certain advantage. Even better was 15...Nxc5 16. Qd2 (what else?) d3! 17. exd3 (17. e3 Be4 18. Rb1 Qc6 19. Bh3+ Kb8 and Black is better) 17...Bxd3 18. Kg1 b6 and Black is better.

At move 20 Blacks position was still supirior. 20...Qc5 was even better than 20...Rhe8

The mistake was 21. Bxb1?? with the know, pritty sudden death of Black. Much better, keeping Blacks advantage, was 21...Qc5
