Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-05-21  Brenin: 24 Rxh3+ Bxh3 is an obvious start, but what comes next? I liked 25 Qxh3+ Kg1 26 Qxg4+ Ng2 27 Rg8, followed by advancing the e- and f-pawns, but 26 Rh8 or 25 Rh8 seem to win more efficiently (the last one inducing an immediate resignation, which is as good as it gets).
Oct-05-21  mel gibson: The first move is obvious but it's a mate in 10 according to Stockfish 14 so not so easy to
work out 10 moves ahead.

24... Rxh3+

Oct-05-21  agb2002: Black has the bishop pair for a bishop, a knight and a pawn.

The open h-file suggests 24... Rxh3+ 25.Bxh3 Qxh3+ 26.Kg1 Rh8:

A) 27.Ng2 Qh2+ 28.Kf2 Bh4+ followed by Qxg2 is winning.

B) 27.Kf2 Qh2+ 28.Ng2 (28.Ke3 Bg5+ 29.Rf4 Bxf4#) 28... Bh4+ transposes to A.

C) 27.Qc2 Qh1+ 28.Kf2 Rh2+ 29.Kg3 (29.Ke3 Bg5+ 30.Rf4 Rxc2 wins) 29... Bd6+ 30.Rf4 Rxc2 wins.

Oct-05-21  raymondhow: After the first obvious move, I also went for 25.Qxh3+ which is apparently just as good in the end. Whoever chose this for a Tuesday puzzle must have thought it was easy due to the early resignation.
Oct-05-21  saturn2: I considered 24...fxg4 threatening gxh3 winning
