  TheAlchemist: A great game indeed.
Dec-16-09  RonB52734: According to the database, these two players faced each other four times in the same tournament, twice with each color pairing. http://www.chessgames.com/perl/ches... I know I'm kind of new to this, but isn't that odd?
Dec-16-09  RonB52734: Never mind. I see that the ICC tournament "Dos Hermanas" pits players against each other for best-of-four pairings. It's an interesting idea. It would be interesting to see some statistics like, how many identical pairings produce identical move-orders for how many moves, and whether this kind of (I guess you'd call it) quadruple round robin tournament produces more draws than other formats do.
