I think Black's aim should be a draw, with or without rooks. Do you agree? Then the evaluation of 39.. ♖xe2 depends on whether the knight ending is lost or drawn. Black needs only to destroy White's a-pawn, and this should be possible in several ways. But Golmayo misplayed it badly. Losing the f-pawn was no problem, but at some moment the Black king is needed on the queenside. Just for fun: 46.. ♔f7 (looks terrible) 47. ♔xg5 is a draw, even sacrificing the third pawn by 47.. b4 draws!

I think Golmayo lost the game with 47.. b4?. This was his last chance to bring the king over, say 47.. ♔f6 48.♘xb5 ♔e5 and Black is in time.
