Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-18-08  brankat: WoW! Although this was just a simul game, Mr.Ranneforth utterly destroyed his famous opponent. Must have been a talented player.
Mar-18-08  FHBradley: In Finnish, "ranne" (as in Ranneforth), meas 'wrist'; perhaps that goes some way towards explaining Herr Ranneforth's agility in chess.
Mar-18-08  Knight to f6: This is the kind of game I'd expect in a simul. Actually, someone should check if they have the right players playing the right colours; looks like Lasker really played Black!
Mar-18-13  thomastonk: Wow, exactly five years after my three predecessors I came around and I can solve <Knight to f6>'s task: Lasker played .... White! The game is published with comments in "Deutsche Schachzeitung" 1895, p.11. The game has been played on September 9, 1894.
Nov-15-14  TheFocus: From a simul in Leipzig, Germany on September 9, 1894.

Lasker scored +24=7-5.
