Apr-08-06  EmperorAtahualpa: Great game! After 29.Kb2 follows 29...Rd2+ 30.Ka1 Rxg2 and after 29.Kb2 follows 29...Nd2+ 30.Kb2 Nxb3.

I don't understand why White moved 19.c5?! Can anyone please explain it to me? Thanks.

Apr-12-06  ObiWanBenoni: <EmperorAtahualpa>19.c5 does seem to lead to trouble but it is difficult to suggest anything more constructive. I think Shanava was trying to find some complications in a losing position. If he does nothing he is getting crushed. So at least the threat of 20. Qd6 is an attempt at getting an initiative going.

OhioChessFan: That's a pretty awful game by White. A 2500 player, 10 moves in as White, and already struggling?
