TheAlchemist: A beautiful game by Black!

In the end, it's mate in 2:

28.Kh3 Rf3+ 29.Kh4 Bf6#

28.Kg5 Rf5+ 29.Kh4(h6) Rh5#

28.Kg3 Rf5+ 29.Kh3(h4) Rh5#

Jun-06-06  jperr75108: What a game.
Is the idea after 13. Rc1 if 13... Bxc4 then 14. Nb5?
Jun-06-06  aw1988: That's the idea, but it's losing for White! Nb5 a6! and if Nc7 Bxf1! and White is simply a piece down.
Jun-10-06  cyruslaihy: no its doesn't, 13 Rc1
if 13...Bxc4 14 Nb5 a6 15 Bxc4 axb5 16 Bxf7! Kxf7 17 Qxc8 Rxc8 18 Rxc8 white exchanged 2Ns for a R and pawn
though white did not lose a piece for nothing, position is not so good for white either
May-24-08  addiction to chess: Definitely a true brilliancy!
Oct-18-10  sevenseaman: An incisive, fearless, attacking style employed by Persson. A very good game.
