Peligroso Patzer: <1R4N: what was the main fault?> Possibly 31. ... Bxa5, which voluntarily diverted Black's Bishop from the defense of the f6-square, thereby allowing 32. Nxf6!.
Jul-30-06  TIMER: Morozevich is still better than Radjabov and Carlsen, although they are improving. I like the way he has reacted to his one loss, to show them who is still boss.
Jul-30-06  1R4N: ok thanks
Jul-30-06  spirit: up moro! up!
Jul-30-06  suenteus po 147: <TIMER> You ain't just whistling Dixie! Morozevich is schooling them!

An Englishman: Good Morning: Earlier kibitzing tended to believe that Morozevich's sacrifice was unsound, and that Bruzon blundered badly in zeitnot. Was this true, or has the sac been proven sound? If it was unsound, I'd like to hear Morozevich's explanation of what he thought he saw. Exciting game to watch, nonetheless.

  WannaBe: <An Englishman> If you meant 32. Nxf6+, software did not like that move, Recommended 32. Nc5 Rxe3 33. fxe3 Kh8 34. Nxd7 Qxd7 (0.76)

sisyphus: <What's wrong with 39 QxB??> 39...Re7+ 40.Kxd6 Qd8 regains the piece and Black is toast.
Jul-30-06  zabbura2002: wow.. he always has a brilliant idea whenever he plays..
Jul-30-06  TylerD: What rating performance so far for Moro, anyone? Grateful for answers.

Jul-30-06  SnoopDogg: <Morozevich: 5/6 against 2664 opposition for a rating performance of 2714>

I think your calculations are a little off.

Jul-30-06  TIMER: Rating performance of Morozevic so far is 2937
Aug-26-06  rjsolcruz: "And here is a powerful win in the Spanish Opening featuring “The Mark of Moro”: some “funny” moves in the opening, complications which he skillfully manipulates to get the initiative, and then a sudden sacrifice followed by a killing attack."
