Aug-01-06  mrodrigues: 57... Qh5+ and white will lose one rook.
Aug-01-06  KholdStare: Qh5+ was better than Qg3+
Aug-01-06  Hannibal: now h3 pawn will fall...
Aug-01-06  Ulhumbrus: Now the bishop gets to g3 and the h3 pawn falls as well. Volokitin may resign any moment now, or he may play on.

WannaBe: So this 'circle' continues, Moro is undefeated vs. Volo, Volo is undefeated vs. Carlsen, and Carlsen beats Moro. =)
Aug-01-06  YouRang: Great game. Gotta hand it to Moro for 43...Bc5. Most of us were expecting 43...Bd6+ to win the exchange, but leaving open the possibility of a White fortress. Instead he played to use his advantage to go after White's remaining pawns, slowly killing all hopes of a draw.
Aug-01-06  Ulhumbrus: Volokitin probably overlooked Morozevich's exchange sacrifice in his calculations, and this cost him the game. By conserving his KB Morozevich showed that his evaluation of the bishop was more accurate than that of the usual value given to the bishop. Possibly his loss against Carlsen increased his alertness in this respect.

Sneaky: Bravo, bravo! Masterfully done. Morozevich is going to run away with this tournament and he deserves it.
