Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-05-15  Serbon91: This is pure torture for old Timman...Masterfully displayed by Chuky...
Nov-05-15  offramp: The doubled pawns were too weak and the tripled pawns were too strong.

plang: 11 a3 had been played previously in a very short draw; 11 Ne5 was new. 15..Bxe5?! was positionally suspect; 15..Rad8 would have been more solid. Black was in trouble after 20..Rc8?; better was 20..Qc8 21 Be1..Nc7 22 Qxc4..Nd5 with an unclear position. After 25 Bc3 White was in complete control. 27..Rf5 28 g4..Rxe5 29 Bf4 would have won material for White.
