Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-03-07  RookFile: Here it is black who 'parts with the lady', and wins with the queen sacrifice.
Sep-29-09  jerseybob: While playing over this game I was picturing Dake cleaning Alekhine's clock in blitz, as he reportedly did many times back in the 30s. The Old Man still had it till the end.
Nov-29-11  AnalyzeThis: Let's not get carried away. I'm sure that Dake won a few blitz games against Alekhine, but he wasn't even in the guy's league.
Jan-13-13  jerseybob: Analyze: I did use the word "blitz" and I'm not getting carried away. Blitz is what it is, and nothing more. But Dake did win one regular game against Alekhine, Pasadena 1932, and it's a beauty.
