tpstar: For this line, the recapture 11. Qxd4 scores better than 11. Bxd4 = Opening Explorer

In the final position, White is down two pieces but has two monster passed Pawns on the seventh supported by both Rooks. 26 ... Rf7? 27. Rh6+ Kf5 28. Qg5#/Rg5#.

Oct-02-20  Llera: <tpstar> In your analysis, after 27.Rh6+ Kf5, after 28.Qg5+?? Or 28.Rg5??, of course Black plays 28...Bxg5 and White loses the Queen or the Rook. You must have had a typo; the right variation is: 26...Rf7? 27.Qh6+ Kf5 28. Qg6+ Kf4 29.Qg4+ Ke3 30.Re1+ Kf2 31. Rhf1 mate.

Oct-02-20  paavoh: I wanted to play 22.Be3 and then push h5-h6.
