Jun-03-07  bogo78: what an attack bu Nisipeanu!! The c5 pawn was the poison that killed andrei here. Very bitter indeed.
Dec-25-08  allin: wow!!!!
Dec-25-08  arsen387: Terrific attack by great Nisi! Interesting is that in this (4..Be7) variation of French defense white has very high winning percentage according to Opening Explorer - 46.2%. Few so often used variations have such a big winning percentage for either side.
Feb-17-12  hedgeh0g: Beautiful double rook sac and finish. I can't get enough of this opening as White.
Feb-18-12  Shams: <hedgeh0g> On 6...a6?! nobody can get enough as White. The question is, how do you do against 6...c5 when White wins the exchange on a8? I hate that line, Black has all the fun.
Feb-18-12  hedgeh0g: I consider 6...c5?! to be a mistake. 7.Bxe7 is the natural follow-up, upon which recapturing with the king is probably best to avoid the Nb5 business. 7...Qxe7 is also playable, but I think White gets an advantage after 8.Nb5 O-O 9.Nc7. The centre collapses, true, but I think White can get good piece play and retains attacking chances on the kingside with the advanced h-pawn.

Could you give an example line which you find problematic as White? I'm always interested in analysing the Chatard-Alekhine.
