outstanding positional sacrifice by Jakovenko and an excellent game on the whole.

May-11-07  Plato: Before this game was in the CG database, I was so impressed by it that I posted it with some brief comments on the Dmitry Jakovenko page, where I have been busy lately! Jakovenko is an extremely gifted young player who was being overlooked/underestimated by many chess fans (IMO), but I think that's starting to change nowadays, which is inevitable given some of his recent games and results.
