Jun-18-11  r00ksac: The concluding position reminds me of a possible POTD with a pun on 'ribs'. I am assuming that white could play rd5, a move that might rub the wrong rib for black's rook on c5!

  Gilmoy: Looks right. The point of <30.Bf1> was to stop the discovery <30.Rd5?? Rc1+>.

After <30..a4> 31.Rd5 Qa2 32.Qxf5+ Kg8 <f6 33.Rd7+ and eventually Qe4 defends b1 and pokes g6> 33.b8=Q and White threatens Qxf8+ and Rb8+ with a triangle mate.
