I would totally agree with you if that were a complete sentence.

I have the feeling that Black helped out by playing passively, but I don't have any suggestions. Maybe 12...Qxe7 would have been better.

  RookFile: 10.....N6d7 was mandatory. After Bxe7 Qxe7 you already have that queen on e7 and didn't waste the knight moves. White has an advantage after 10....N6d7 11. Bxe7 Qxe7 12. f4

  fredthebear: 20...NxNe7 allows the royal fork 21.Nxe6+, so Black declines. Capa makes the backward e6-pawn his target anyway.
