Sep-16-11  Robin01: What about 11.Qe2+ instead of 0-0? Is 11.Qe2+ any good here? It looks okay, but something seems odd about it.

Gilmoy: <Robin01: 11.Qe2+> No good: Black plays 11..Ne7 anyways, and White has <two en prise>, g2 and Bxc3+ forking a1.

Then White's Q is misplaced on e2, and Black will inevitably have O-O (Ne7 is protected by Bb4) and Re8, chasing her. So White will lose two tempi for nothing: Black isn't even disrupted.

Plus, where does she go? Qg4 is blah, Qd3 is passive, and she has no support anywhere else.

Be2-Bd2-Qe2-Qd3 already looks like opening fail. Black shouldn't have that much initiative that soon.
