Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-21-07  dabearsrock1010: i dont understand this game in the least
Nov-21-07  Resignation Trap: I wanted to see how Chuky defeated Volodya's Petroff in blitz. Unfortunately, there's something wrong with the transmission of moves here.
Nov-21-07  chessmoron: Playing Petroff in blitz or Blindfold is extremely dangerous.
Nov-21-07  Chicago Chess Man: Either the score is incomplete or Kramnik lost on time.
Nov-21-07  Catfriend: Why did Kramnik resign?.. Certainly, after 19.hxg4 exf3 20.Qxf3 White's just a tad better, but it's blitz and it's really minor!
Nov-21-07  apple pi: <Resignation Trap>: It would be more unfortunate if theses moves were <right>.
Nov-23-07  popski: Yes, what's with this strange game?! Why Kramnik didn't take bishop 15.hxg4?
Nov-23-07  Marvol: <popski: Why Kramnik didn't take bishop 15.hxg4?>

That's most likely because this game score is wrong.

Losing on time in the Petroff after move 18 seems a tad bit unlikely for somebody named Kramnik.

Or Kramnik threw this game to his compatriot to stop Vishy winning :O!

Nov-28-07  M.D. Wilson: This is not the correct game score. What is true is that Ivanchuk won.
