 | | fredthebear: Here's the Opening of the Day in a blitz game. White transposes to a classical approach, while Black takes up a hypermodern Hippopotamus of sorts. 10.d5 starts a chain of events that eventually results in White having a bad bishop, but computer evaluations will prefer White at that early point due to more developed pieces. The Black knights -- and then some -- dominate this closed structure (closed structures used to confuse computers) turned amusement park. Nakamura has conducted many superb kingside steam rollers out of the related King's Indian Defense, so this result should come as no surprise. Say what you will about the frivolous finish, which I blame on the computer for failing to resign in a ridiculous empty-handed position. No harm in some blitz fun as far as I'm concerned. |

 | | louispaulsen88888888: I usually get a bunch of queens when my opponent won?t resign. I?ll have to try this. But be careful. I have accidentally had a couple of stalemates! |
|
Aug-21-21
 | | louispaulsen88888888: Are other people seeing a question mark instead of an apostrophe? |
