Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-22-08  TheTamale: I didn't know Greco ever actually played the Greco Counter-Gambit... thought it was one of those "Philidor's Defence" things.

White actually starts off well, building a formidable pawn center. Greco was just cleverer.

Aug-06-20  sneaky pete: This is not a real Greco.
Sep-29-21  kereru: There are no "real Grecos", they're all probably composed games.

Ziryab: At least one of Greco’s manuscripts explicitly states, “composed by Gioachino Greco”.
