  fredthebear: It's not the Spanish priest Rev. Fernando Saavedra (1849–1922), who spotted an endgame win in a position previously thought drawn.

Juan Sebastian Morgado is something of a Latvian Gambit specialist, ready and willing to play it with both colors. This is a thematic correspondence game, so Black should be comfortable with his choice of defense. It seems like Morgado is simply the better player, and he certainly has the safer king.
