  Ulhumbrus: The position after 12..d5 is similar to that reached in the game Fischer vs Smyslov, 1965 after 9...d5. Fischer played 10 Qe2 and gained the advantage after 10..dxe4 11 exd4 Be6 12 Bxe6 fxe6 and perhaps 13 Qe2 is the right move in the present game.

15 Nxf6+ moves the QN a fifth time to exchange itself for a KN moved once. That makes a loss of four tempi for development. An interesting alternative to 14 Nxe4 is 14 Nf3-d2 exd4 15 Nd2xe4 threatening to wreck Black's King side by 15 Nxf6+
