Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-04-08  luzhin: White seems to be rolling along until the devastating 41..Rf7!
Oct-04-08  Ladolcevita: rolling along?
How can you thus comment, see the black king was safe all through the game,no even one miniute periled, and not say check. But white's king is sheerly bleak and forked.
Oct-08-08  TigerPawns: 39. g5 was no good. white would have kept rolling along after 39. Nxg2
Oct-10-08  Ulhumbrus: An alternative to 27 f4 is to prepare f4 by 27 Bh4 so that in the event that after ...f5 in reply to f5 White responds by exf6, the recapture ...gxf6 won't gain a tempo by discovering an attack upon White's QB.

An alternative to 29 Rf1 is 29 Bh4 followed by Bxe7 getting rid of White's bad QB and then g4.

Aug-15-10  birthtimes: 27.Bh4 puts more pressure on f6 and prevents Black's counterplay...
Aug-15-10  birthtimes: If "39.Nxg2 hg 40.Rf2 (on 40.Kxg2? both 40...Rbh7 41.Bg1 Qg5 and 40...Rg7!? 41.Rf4 Rgh7 42.Bg1 Qg5 are very strong) 40...Rbh7 41.Rxg2 Rh3 42.Qf4, White preserved his main trump card: the passed pawns on the kingside, and with them the hope for a favorable outcome to the battle" - Dvoretsky
Aug-13-17  SpiritedReposte: The pawn roller screeches to a sudden halt with <41. ...Rf7!>
