Oct-31-08  Caissanist: Larsen blunders on move 27, unwisely accepting a piece sacrifice and then getting mated. A defensive move like Bxg6 or Qg1 should snuff out black's attack; Crafty thinks that 27.f4! even gives white winning chances (depth=13 9/53 +0.88 27. ... Ng6 28. f5 Ne5 29. Qf4 Nf7 30. Bh4 Ra1+ 31. Oct-31-08  Inf: Holy crap! +0-9=0? Time to retire perhaps?
Nov-03-08  Andrijadj: well, this is not bent's first shootout...he had one back in the 70s...

Many people tend to conclude this from his latest games, i really dont see why ! He was the first GM to get beat by deep thought, should he have just given up then ? Oh well, a computer beat me, so ill retire and let a calculator take over ?! Larsen has played some very bold openings, Bird`s opening f.ex. and he still tries to break the norm and play intuitively and with guts, the man is 150 years old and plays like a prodigy child, hail to the king !!!
Nov-14-08  b4ndiT: Sorry, there are no games similar to this one in the database...
