Sep-23-09  TheTamale: Thank God Larsen lost. b4 and h4 in the first 4 moves should lose on general principle.
Jun-06-10  cjgone: 14. Rh3...Haven't seen that one yet.
Jun-22-11  parisattack: Larsen was an explorer. This is a tough line of the Polish for White. Black gets an initiative for a few moves with the standard c4/Nf3 so a 'waiting move' is at least worth a try.

That said, 4. Nc3 may be best.

TheFocus: If I had not seen that Larsen was White, I would have thought this was some game in a scholastic tournament.
Jan-08-12  parisattack: Aficionados of the Polish/Sokolsky's will see here that Larsen was trying to keep and make something of White's central pawn majority. Clearly it did not work and equally clearly there are few games where that majority does come to play. I think Black gets mobilized too quickly is the reason.
