Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-15-09  Ychromosome: The position after 31. Rc7, I think, is terribly important. Anyone want to have a look at Karpov's play?
Jan-09-10  tixxo: I feel not comfortable with the french defense, definitely!
Oct-25-12  standingtal: Karpov's moves after move 31 pretty much present themselves: Q&P for his R&B then kick the B to collect on D5. Of more interest to me is how he manoeuvres his R to draw out black's defenders ...
May-03-14  ndg2: It's quite astonishing (or maybe not) that Karpov played in the "Karpov-style" even at a very young age.

Many players are sharp attack players in their youth and develop a positional style only later. Not so with Karpov.

May-03-14  Granny O Doul: I'd have made White play one more accurate move, personally.
