Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-05-20  Brenin: An entertaining game, with White throwing away the win several times, and Black politely handing it back. Some suggested improvements:

20 Bh6 Bh8 (or Bf8) 21 Bf4 Bg7 22 Bxe5 winning the exchange;

30 ... Qb5, preventing 31 Nb4 and 32 Nd5;

38 Qh2, guarding g1 after 38 ... Qxg5;

39 ... Kg8, and White has no better than a draw;

40 Qd7, threatening Rxf7+;

40 ... Rxc2+ 41 Kxc2 d3+ draws.

At the end, if 41 ... Qg5 then 42 d7 Qxh4 43 d8=Q+ wins.

Sep-05-20  spazzky: 41 ... Qg5 loses to Rxf7+
