Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-13-09  Whitehat1963: Puzzle after 20...h6. What's the best defense to White's move?
Jun-13-09  ounos: Without double checking, I see 21. ...Kxf7 22. d6+ Kf8 23. d7 Rb8 (or Ra8) 24. Qc1 Ne7 25. Qa3

And what is Black supposed to do? I'm not sure what the killer blow would be, but White looks menacing (rooks can easily reach the 6th line)

Jun-13-09  Oliphaunt: <ounos> in your line 24...Ne7 fails to Rxe7!

After 24.Qc1? Qg5 black survives. Instead 24.Rd4!(with the idea of Qe6) is the right move; 24...Bc6 25.Qd2 or 24...Qg5 25.Qg3 Qxg3 26.fxg3

Jun-13-09  Bobsterman3000: Does 19...h6 save this?
Jun-21-09  Oliphaunt: <Bobsterman3000> 19...h6 allows 20.<Qe7> after which white is more or less winning in every line.
