luzhin: Great demonstration of the strength of a White knight planted on d5 in the Ruy Lopez. After 39...Kxh7 the neatest finish would be 40.g6+ fxg6 41.Rh3+ Kg8 42.Qe6 mate.

Ron: By move 28, White is a pawn down, but has a centrally posted knight while Black has a locked in bishop
Jun-13-09  syracrophy: Also 39...♔h7 40.♕h5+ ♔g8 41.♕xf7+ ♔h7 42.♖h3# works :-)
