  tamar: Missed win for Negi?

Negi plays 54 a4 but Postny escapes into the tablebase draw Q and b pawn versus Q

After 54 b5 f4 55 b6 Nc5 56 Kb4 Nd7 57 b7 f3 58 Kc3 f2 59 Nd2 the knight gets back in time, and the a pawn will win.

g15713: Knight with a pair of connected passed pawns versus Knight with a passed pawn ending was a lot trickier to analyze than was expected. This game was picked for the informative queen ending not a routine <just kidding> knight ending!

g15713: <"With a b-pawn or g-pawn, the situation is different as there is a new drawing zone. Assuming the defender cannot get his king in front of the pawn, he should move his king towards the comer diagonally opposite the pawn's promotion square. If the defender's king can reach this comer, the position may still be drawn even if the pawn is on the seventh rank."> John Nunn
