Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-10-09  moroloser: Do they even award Elo points for beating up an opponent more than 500 Elo points weaker?
Aug-10-09  percyblakeney: Jadrijevic did well and seemed to have drawing chances up until his 43rd (fxe3 is much better), but it was probably just a question of time anyway considering the Elo difference.

cu8sfan: <moroloser: Do they even award Elo points for beating up an opponent more than 500 Elo points weaker?> Well, what can you do? It's a Swiss event with players ranging from 2000 - 2750. He's bound to face stronger opposition as the tournament goes on.
Aug-10-09  Knight13: <Jadrijevic did well and seemed to have drawing chances up until his 43rd (fxe3 is much better> Disagreed. Black already have the advantage by move 25, with full control of center and restriction of White pieces.
Aug-10-09  talfan: after 38. dxc5 white had 7! isolated pawns, and 6 of them doubled as well. Very unusual indeed.
Aug-12-09  percyblakeney: <Disagreed. Black already have the advantage by move 25>

When the opponent is 500 points higher rated it isn't too bad to have a worse but drawable position past the time control though...

Aug-12-09  timhortons: <did well and seemed to have drawing chances up until his 43rd >

i agree, rybka give a drawing chances,at least with rybkas line he dont fall this hard and fast.
