Bobsterman3000: nice!! I didn't know that Navara could play like this against 2700+ players...

Navara's nifty rook maneuvers between moves 25 and 45 secure the 2 pawn advantage in style...

Nov-27-09  messachess: Yes, this was a very nice win by Navara. He's having a good tournament.
Nov-27-09  Eyal: It should probably have been a draw after 36...cxd4 37.Rg3+ Kh8 38.Ng6+ Kg8 39.Nxf8+ Bxg3 40.fxg3 Kxf8 41.Rxd4 Re3. Instead, Karjakin blunders away the game with 36...f4??; 37...Kh8 is answered by 38.Nf7+!

Navara could have won more economically with 39.Nf7+! Kxf4 40.g3+ Kf5 41.Nxd6+.
